Alex Merced was born June 30th, 1985 in Connecticut. Alex Merced is the son of a Guatemalan mother and a Puerto Rican Father and spent the first 18 years of his life in Machester, CT. He then spent 4 1/2 years in Bowling Green, OH for his undergrad then over a decade in New York City during his twenties and early thirties. In 2021, Alex Merced moved to the Orlando Florida area where he works in the Software Developer space as an instructor and developer advocate.
